My name is Rocky Larsen and I am the Proud owner of RockSolid Detailing! I have been detailing for 22 years.
I started learning the trade and working at a High End Full Service Car Wash & Detail Company in High School as well as through my College years while earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University. I left the Auto Detailing Industry and pursued a career at Holy Cross Children’s Services-The Haven . The Haven was a non-profit Facility. Program for “At-Risk” Youth. While working at The Haven I continued to Detail on weekends for myself as a hobby for my family and friends.
In 2014 I became Certified for Auto Detailing for the Reconditioning Process by Terry Heckman a CASE Authorized Trainer by Auto Wax Company-an ITW Company by the makers of Auto Magic Inc.
In 2016 I was Invited to be part of the 2016 DeVos Auto Show as a Detailer by Terry Heckman - (a very successful, well known Auto Detailer and Instructor/CASE Trainer) in which I graciously accepted!
Realizing the dream of detailing full time, in 2022 I stopped working for “the man” And went into business for myself! With a lot of hard work and the support of my family & friends RockSolid Detailing found a home in downtown Grand Rapids, Mi.
